I'm back again for my regular Tuesday blog post with a very glitzy card ! This looks very complicated but is in fact very simple because the design is random but repetitive.
I cut three pieces of black card , a large square and then two rectangles that would layer over the square as you can see . I stamped and embossed with gold powder the two larger images from the stamp set . Where there were any obvious gaps I used the single flowers from the set to fill the gaps .
Using Irridescent Shimmering Watercolour paints I painted the flowers in various colours from the palette. I coloured all the flowers on the central panel and only a few on the base and quote panels . I stamped and embossed the quote into the centre of the smallest panel . All the panels were then mounted onto gold card .
Using the same colours from the paint palette I coloured some paper flowers so that they would tone with the background.l also coloured some stick pins with gold paint .
The panels were attached to the background using foam pads and the whole was attached to a black card blank . I used dimensional glue to attach the flowers and pins to finish the card .
As I saw d this is easy to make but looks great ! Black and gold together always look great .

ReplyDeleteI don't know if you are aware or even if you can do anything about it but I am finding I can not pin your cards. It is always blocked and says it may lead to spam. Perhaps Pinterest can do something about this. I hope this helps.
