I started with a sheet of coconut white foundations card hitch I folded in half to create a card base . I stamped the background design using Cornflower blue Archival ink . I didn't try to get a perfect image because I felt that a rather patchy print would work better .
Next I cut the Lattice Window from black card . I cut one full window and one frame . I then stamped and embossed with gold powder the same design as the background onto the solid window. I applied perfect medium to the window frame and embossed it with gold powder. I stamped and embossed the sentiment onto black card and also added gold embossing to a piece of card to act as a mount for the sentiment.
The sentiment was attached to the gold embossed card and the window frame was attached to the solid window .
Using the Perfect Peony Complete Petals dies I cut out the three largest flowers from parchment . I created the flowers by making a fold down the centre of each petal and then pressing down at the centre of the flower with a large ball tool to shape it . I stuck three or four layers of flowers together to make the dimensional flower . I then rubbed New Gold Gilding Wax onto the edges of the petals . The centres of the flowers are flat pearls rubbed with the same gilding wax .
To complete the card I added ribbon and lace as shown . I then attached the window and sentiment with dimensional glue and used the same to attach the flowers . I added more flat backed pearls which had been coloured with the gilding wax to finish the card .
Items used to create this card include :---
Stamps -- Just Rite Cling Stamps , Tulip Damask Background Stamp .
Creative Expressions Stamps , Spirit (Sentiment ) .
Creative Expressions Craft Dies by Sue Wilson, Perfect Peony Complete Petals and Lattice Window .
Metallic Gilding Wax, New Gold .
